• What was the task? Use a 3 by 2 rectangle with diagrams to help explain.
• Which rectangles did you investigate? Include them in your report.
• Did you spot any patterns? How did these patterns help?
• Did you find a rectangle with exactly 100 squares? Show your solution.

Carry out a review of the MyMaths HW tasks on Equivalent Fractions and Ordering Decimals. Follow the template stuck into your red HW book.

You need to create three fractions and explain how to simplify them and you need to write out three lists of decimal numbers and explain how to order them. Use MyMaths to help you by copying out and attempting any questions you got wrong when attempting your HW.

If you scored over 80%, you should be setting questions that will stretch and challenge you. Ask me for ideas if you need any.

1. Explain what a number pyramid is and how it works.
2. Which questions were you attempting?
3. Write out full solutions to these questions making sure you give detailed explanations of all your reasoning.

The two objectives you will be assessed against are:
L5: draw simple conclusions of their own and give an explanation of their reasoning
L4: search for a solution by trying out ideas of their own
