7p3 MyMaths review HW

Carry out a review of the MyMaths HW tasks on Equivalent Fractions and Ordering Decimals. Follow the template stuck into your red HW book.

You need to create three fractions and explain how to simplify them and you need to write out three lists of decimal numbers and explain how to order them. Use MyMaths to help you by copying out and attempting any questions you got wrong when attempting your HW.

If you scored over 80%, you should be setting questions that will stretch and challenge you. Ask me for ideas if you need any.

Hand in on Wednesday 15th December. Don't forget the maths support session on Monday lunchtimes in room 7!

12B1 revison

For Monday 13th December please do the following:

• Complete the June 2009 Core 1 paper. You can find it on the numeracy section of the DLG.
• Use the solutions on the DLG to mark your work. We can address any issues you have on Monday.
• Print a copy of the Jan 2009 Core 1 paper and bring to school on Monday. We will work through this paper next week.

I will not collect in your work but I will check you've done it.

Pupil Voice Survey

If you have not yet completed the Pupil Voice Survey on the DLG, Friday is the absolute deadline. Remember, this is your chance to have a say on how maths lessons run and suggest ways of improving them.

13B1 Core 3 past papers

Please see the announcements on the gateway where I have left two Core 3 papers for you to be working on. There's June 2007 and Jan 2009. When completed, find the mark schemes online and mark and correct your work.

8p1 MyMaths reflection

Complete MyMaths reflection in your red HW book.

Create 3 equations and plot the graphs of these in your HW book including explanations and workings.

Draw 3 graphs and explain how you find the equation of each of the lines.

Hand this work in on Wednesday 8th December. Don't forget the drop in session, Monday lunchtimes in room 7.
